Question blocks
A single standalone question as its own block — every survey question type, placed exactly where you need it.
A question block is one question as its own step in the study. It supports the same seven types as survey questions — Short Text, Long Text, Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Rating Scale, Likert Scale, and Yes / No — with the same answer options, max rating, and Likert low and high labels. Add one from Individual questions in the Add block dialog; the type you pick there is fixed for that block.
When to use one
Use a question block when the question's position matters:
- A rating scale immediately after a usability task, while the experience is fresh.
- A yes/no check before a block — "Have you used this feature before?" — so you can segment results later.
- One closing question after the last activity, without wrapping it in a survey.
If you find yourself stacking three question blocks in a row, that's a survey.
Configuration
The block's title is what testers see as the step name; the Question text, optional Helper text, and type-specific settings work exactly as in surveys. Testers must answer a question block before moving on. Launch is refused while the block's title or question text is blank, so fill both in and preview before you launch — see configuration errors.
